QA) What is the population density of the census reigon in which your school is located?
Ans. The population density=(150,448.339 people/143,998 sq.mi)
=1044.79
If you round it its going to be about =1045 people/sq.mi
Therefore, the population density of Bangladesh where my school is located is 1045 people per square miles. QB) Divide the remaining eight census regions among the groups in your class. Find the population density of the region you are assigned. Share your data for all nine regions.
Ans. Population density:
Netherlands = 16,423.431/41,528
= 395.4
If you round it then your answer would be about = 395 people/sq.mi
Therefore the population density for Netherlands is 395 people per square miles.
*India = 1,103,371,000/3,287,263
= 335.6
If you round it then the answer would be about 336 people/sq.mi
Therefore the population density for India is 336 people per square miles.
*UK = 60,776,238/242,900
=250.2
If you round it then the answer would be about =250 people/sq.mi
Therefore the population density for UK is 250 people per square miles.
Pakistan = 165,935,100/803,940
= 206.4
If you round it your answer would be about 206 people/sq.mi
Therefore the population density for Pakistan is about 206 people per square miles.
*Malaysia = 27,739,000/329,847
= 84.09
If you round it the answer would change to only about 84 people/sq.mi
Therefore the population density for Malaysia is 84 people per square miles.
*USA = 301,149,000/96,290,91
= 31.2
If you round it your answer would be about 31 people/sq.mi
Therefore the population density for USA is 31 people per square miles.
*Russia = 143,201,600/17,098,242
= 8.37
If you round it the answer would be about 8 people/sq.mi
Therefore the population density of Russia is 8 people per square miles.
*Canada = 33,271,000/99,846,70
= 3.33
If you round it the ans. would be about 3 people/sq.mi.
Therefore the population density for Canada is 3 people per square miles.
*Saint Martin = 33,102/5,32
= 62.22
If you round it the answer would be about 62 people/sq.mi
Therefore the population density for Saint Martin is 62 people per square miles.
*South Korea = 49,044,790/99,538
= 492.7
If you round it the answer would be about 493 people/sq.mi
Therefore the population density for South Korea is 493 people per square miles. QC) Order the regions from least crowded to most crowded
Ans. 1. Canada = 3 people/sq.mi
2. Russia = 8 people/sq.mi
3. USA = 31 people/sq.mi
4. Saint Martin = 62 people/sq.mi
5. Malaysia = 84 people/sq.mi
6. Pakistan = 206 people/sq.mi
7. UK = 250 people/sq.mi
8. India = 336 people/sq.mi
9. Netherlands = 395 people/sq.mi
10. South Korea = 493 people/sq.mi
11. Bangladesh = 1045 people/sq.mi QD) Compare the population density of the region in which you live to the population density of each neighboring region. Write complete sentences explaining which regions you are comparing and describing how their population densities compare.
Ans.
The population density of my country Banglades is 1045 people/sq.mi which is 348.33 times bigger than Canada which is just 3 people/sq.mi
The population density of Russia is 8 people/sq.mi which is 131 times less crowded than Bangladesh
The population density of USA is 31 people/sq.mi which is about 34 times less crowded than Bangladesh
The population density of Saint Martin is 62 people/sq.mi which is about 17 times less than the population density of Bangladesh
The population density of Malaysia is 84 people/sq.mi which needs 12.44 times more people/sq.mi to match the population density in Bangladesh
The population density of Pakistan is 206 people/sq.mi which needs more 839 people/sq.mi to match with the population density of Bangladesh
The population density of UK is 250 people/sq.mi which is 795 less people/sq.mi than Bangladesh.
The population density of India is 336 people/sq.mi which needs more 709 people/sq.mi to match up with Bangladesh.
The population of Bangladesh is 650 people/sq.mi, more than Netherland which is 395 people/sq.mi.
The difference between the population density of Bangladesh and South Korea is (1045-493)=552 people/sq.mi
Q.FU) What do you think accounts for the differences in poplulation densities among the regions? In other words, why do you think some areas are densly populated and others nare more sparsely populated?
Ans. Some areas are more densely populated because the area covering the people in square mile is less than the number of population.
Example: Bangladesh has 150,448,339 people in 143,998 square miles in land which means the densitypopulation of Bangladesh is (150,448,339/143,998)=1044.79, If you round it the ans. would be 1045 people/sq.mi.
Other areas are more sparsely populated because the area covering the people in square miles is greater than the number of population.
Example: Canada has 33,271,000 people in 9,984,670 square miles of land which means the density population of Canada is (33,271,000/9,984,670)=3.33 that is about 3 people/sq.mi
